ACT I — PAANOO

Cocoa milk bread arrives warm at the table with alligator pepper and sorghum butter.

Bread has always been more than food.

It is gathering. Communion. The beginning of a shared experience.

ACT II — THE STREET

The energy changes.

Kosua ne Meko. Kaaklo. Beef Chichinga.

A celebration of Ghana’s street-food culture and the women vendors and matriarchs who have carried these traditions forward.

ACT III — THE SEA

The experience moves toward Ghana’s coastline.

Scallop. Kpakpo shito. Lemongrass.

Cooler. Brighter. Deliberately restrained.

ACT IV — THE ROOT

Cassava becomes the protagonist.

An ingredient deeply embedded in West African cooking is transformed through technique while remaining connected to where it came from.
